SmarTakeUp

Due to its flexibility, this winder is used as a take-up winder after the continuous heatsetting of all current BCF Carpet Yarns: PA 6, PA 6.6, PP, PET.

Straight heatset as well as frisée are processed smoothly.

There are two variants:

  • SmarTakeUp CD

    • Take-Up after Superba TVP:
    one triple-deck machine
    all positions wind and doff simultaneously.

  • SmarTakeUp

    • Take-up after Power-Heat-Set GVA:
    two triple-deck machines
    all positions wind and doff simultaneously, per deck.

PHS utilizes the Gilbos SmarTakeUp as their winder of choice. This gives the customer the advantage of having the competences of two companies in one package.

Higher efficiencies during tufting and weaving

Especially for yarns with higher elasticity. In that case, it is important to chose P- or Q-winding in function of the direction of twist (S or Z).
