For high speed air-entangling of medium
to coarse yarns, under high air pressure;
Available in 6, 9 or 12 spindles per machine;

Full individual working of each spindle, as well in winding speed as on the
other air-entanglement parameters;
Working speeds between 250 and 1100 m/min possible, depending on the air-entanglement

Large variety of air-entangled stylings available: Air-Entangling, Air-Mixing,

Up to 12 ends yarn supply per spindle is possible, with final yarn count up

Combination of PC with PLC for control and operator-machine communication;
Storage of air-entangling parameters in a menu, for reproduction at a later
stage with full automatic settings of parameters.

AirTwist System
The AirTwist system is electronically controlled. The computer allows for a perfect control of the length of the twist, the interlace, the tpi, and ramp-up and down during start and stop functions.
All parameters of the twist process can be set independently per spindle, allowing the customer to produce a different product on each spindle, or develop a new product on one spindle, without interfering with normal production.
A cycle diagram is used for setting timing parameters, making flexibility for spacing extremely versatile while also allowing higher speeds.
Alternate sections of twisted and air entangled product is existing technology and can be produced by just changing the required parameters.
Two or more ends twisted in various combinations are possible, through the compact thread path for operator convenience.
During the process no untwisted sections of yarn will occur, so no waste is produced, and there is no need for any accumulation between the Air Twist module and the winder.
User friendly operator interface allowing flexible setting and clear read-out of all the parameters. All parameters needed to produce a certain product are stored in a recipe, allowing the customer to easily recall and reproduce a product. The recipes can be stored a memory-carrier for backup purposes.
All Air Twist machines can be connected into a network, allowing the shared use of recipes.
By changing timings, speed and pressure,
the tpi & interlacing can easily be changed. No wear on mechanical parts
since the twist is created by means of compressed air. Very low air and energy
consumption.
